Its the first time since I've been alone that I've been sick.
today, Wednesday, I'm better but still dealing with the runny nose and stuffy head somewhat.
I made it through one more experience of life without JD. Didn't have to worry about passing this on to him at least. I managed to keep the pets cared for, Phyllis and Jeremy set up my art display at the local gallery, Orb (next door neighbor) brought my mail as he often does. I even got the trash out.
Weather has been wonderful. Warm but damp.
I'm a bit unhappy that I did not get my kitchen project done as I'd planned. I bought my blue dishes I wanted. Now I need to totally clean out my cabinets, move my baker's racks and clean the walls. cinder block walls mold and mildew in the damp and that needs to go. I bought the mold and mildew root remover which keeps it away a lot longer. Now to use it.
I want/need to do something about the disorder. There is only so much that can be done since I'm in the middle of so many projects and haven't had the energy to finish them this week. Some, like the rocks and the website will take months. Others less than an hour.
So today, a short run to town for a few necessities and then we'll see how we feel.
The Gem and Mineral show is Saturday-well, Fri, Sat and Sun but we're going Saturday so Steve can go too. This is something I need to do for the store so all other things take a back seat. They aren't going anywhere.
I'm doing ok. I'm missing JD a lot but that's to be expected. He is so much a part of me that I will always miss him. Mostly now its just moments of sad. I can laugh, I can sing and I can play. I can cry when I need to.
Today I'm mostly just blowing my nose and trying to get better in many ways.
Thanks, friends, for staying with me. You make my journey easier.
Everything will get done when it's supposed to. Like you said - you have the option to do things or not do things on any given day. Hope you feel better soon - I had one over Christmas and it took about a week and a half to leave. Take care of yourself. Hugs!
